Faith and the Climate Crisis

December 7th at 7:00 pm on Zoom

“How can our faith and principles inform our responses to the climate crisis? On December 7th, at 7pm ET join as several UU leaders in New York gather for “Climate Crisis: Act Now,” a special panel discussion on faith leadership in a post COP26 world. How can we begin to make important changes in personal practices, congregations, and civic life? Our panel discussion will be moderated by Kamila Jacob, lead organizer for New York Unitarian Universalist Justice. Kamila will facilitate a conversation among David Sayer, of Beyond Plastics, Aly Tharp, Co-Director of Unitarian Universalist Ministry for Earth, and Rev. Peggy Clarke, Senior Minister, Community Church of New York and a formal UUA delegate to the recent UN Climate summit in Glasgow. Opening Prayer by Rev. Dr. Natalie Fenimore Cooper, Lead Minister, Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock and Benediction by Rev. Dr. Audette Fulbright, Associate Minister, Unitarian Church of All Souls. Join us as we consider our next steps, together!
