Healing for All Ages: An Intergenerational Wellness Workshop
Have you struggled with self-care? Are you distressed by the chaos of our ongoing pandemic? Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or distracted? Or are you simply curious about values-based strategies to increase your overall happiness? Join us for this intergenerational workshop. Kids of all ages (including kids at heart) are welcome.
Led by Ann Beirne.
Ann is our interim Director of Religious Education and a special educator and behavior analyst with over 20 years of experience working with children and families. She has worked with children in homes and schools, presented at conferences both nationally and internationally, and has trained professionals on 5 continents. Ann is the co-author of Understanding Ethics in Applied Behavior Analysis: Practical Applications, now in its second edition. A passionate advocate for compassionate services and ethical practice, Ann provides training in self-care to professionals and believes that self-care is essential in order to care for others. Ann has made the eight dimensions of wellness the focus of this year’s RE program and even our youngest participants are able to connect activities with these dimensions.
