Mickie Brown RN, HN-BC is the Clinical Manager for Education, Mindfulness and Patient Well-being at the Selikoff Centers for Occupational Health and the World Trade Center Health Program at the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City. Having experienced the power of mindfulness and meditation in her own life, Mickie is passionate about sharing it with others. Mickie began teaching Mind-Body and Mindfulness practices at the World Trade Center Health Program in 2007 where she continues her teaching. She also teaches Mindfulness for Mount Sinai Calm (an employee wellness program) and Graduate Medical Education (faculty, fellows and residents). Mickie has provided Mindfulness and Mindful Leadership programs for corporate and not for profit clients where her programs allow participants to create pathways to improved work-life balance, stress reduction, communication and mindful leadership skills.
