Join All Souls’ field education intern, Greg Tomani, for this two-session series, Philosophy in Action. Session I will introduce the key ideas of Immanuel Kant, one of the most significant of Enlightenment thinkers, whose work continues to influence theories of knowledge, ethics and beauty. Session II will tackle basic Democratic theories and then to imagine what the following ideas might look like in practice: Democratic Thinking, Democratic Constitutionalism, a Democratic Environment, and a Democratic Economy.
