The Risk of Accidental Nuclear War, and Actions to Prevent It

At least four time the world has come within minutes of accidental nuclear war through human or equipment error. Now arsenal “modernization” and new technology are increasing the risk of accidental war while consuming enormous assets which are needed to avert climate disaster. Frank  von Hippel, co=founder of the Princeton University Science and Global Security Program, and Bruce Knotts, director of the Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office, will discuss courses of action which could reduce the risk of blundering into global catastrophe.
