The Spiritual Life of a Composer
Please join Alejandro, Trent, and composer Richard Einhorn in a discussion moderated by Pamela Patton and co-hosted by Musica Viva NY and Buddhism & Mindfulness at All Souls. Through an exploration of Richard’s music, including excerpts from “Voices of Light: The Passion of Joan of Arc” and “Maxwell’s Demon” (for the New York City Ballet’s performance of Red Angels), we will discuss how music can be an expression of spirituality.
This is a pay-as-you-are-able ticketed event. Please register here for tickets: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-spiritual-life-of-the-composer-tickets-134430383897
Richard Einhorn’s unique music has been described as “hauntingly beautiful,” “sensational,” and “overwhelming in its emotional power.” He is one of a small handful of composers who not only reaches a large, world-wide audience, but whose music receives widespread critical praise for its integrity, emotional depth, and craft. https://www.richardeinhorn.com/
