Passcode: AS

On Sunday, March 13th at 2-3:30PM via Zoom, 80th & Lextures presents Writing as a Spiritual Practice with UU Minister, Rev. Diana McLean.
Whether or not you already consider yourself a writer, writing is a spiritual practice available to us all. This session uses a variety of genres to engage with our individual spirituality, and with our inner lives. We’ll begin with exploring the “why” and “how” of writing as a spiritual practice, engage in hands-on exercises and we’ll consider how to make writing as a spiritual practice a regular part of our lives.
Rev. Diana McLean is a nearly lifelong Unitarian Universalist and a published freelance writer and poet. She earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Naropa University in 2009, and a Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology in 2016. Before entering the ministry, her career included teaching creative writing to children and adults. She says, “I have always understood my writing as a way to be Love’s voice in the world.”
