Dr. Chris Rogutsky, Director of Religious Education
Dr. Chris Rogutsky is a first-generation American who is originally from New York City. Creative outlets throughout her lifetime have shown her that artistic traditions are part of the cultural fabric of different parts of the world. Dr. Chris earned her doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. She holds additional advanced degrees in counseling and special education and has completed numerous trainings in art, social work, and myriad Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion topics. She is passionate about removing obstacles to learning, art, culture, nature, walking, living a healthy lifestyle, identifying ways to move forward when challenges arise and of course helping children develop a resiliency of spirit.
Music Team
Trent Johnson,
Trent Johnson is an organist, pianist, composer and conductor. He is the Music Director and conductor of the Oratorio Singers of Westfield, New Jersey and is an organist at Radio City Music Hall in New York City where he plays the “Mighty Wurlitzer” organ for the Christmas Spectacular Show. He is a graduate of the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University and The Juilliard School.
As a composer, he has written numerous works for chorus and orchestra, for orchestra, concertos, chamber music, song cycles, piano works, organ pieces and a full-length opera, entitled Kenyatta. Mr. Johnson is the recipient of grants from Meet the Composer, funding from the NEA, and is the recipient of the Wladimir and Rhoda Lakond Award in composition from the American Academy of Arts and Letters in New York City.
Administration Team
Maxine has an extensive background in HR and Payroll Administration and previously worked in Not-for-Profit as well as Private Corporations. She is a seasoned Office Manager and hold a BA in Banking Finance.
She is the proud mother of a 20 year old son who is currently enrolled in BMCC and has a cat name Riya.
In her spare time, she likes to prepare new healthy cuisine, goes on long walks and is a member of Elegance Dance School which specialize in social Ballroom dance, including Cha Cha and Waltz.
Maxine was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica and travels to the island as often as possible.
Cecily Millen, Director of Growth
Cecily oversees fundraising, membership and external communications at All Souls. Prior to her crossover to the non-profit sector as Membership and Development Manager at Grace Church in New York, Cecily worked in advertising, marketing and communications, beginning her career in the Mayor of the City of New York’s office, and working in sales and account management at advertising agencies and a cable network.
Nadira Shiwram-Singh, Director of Finance and Administration
Hello, I am the Director of Finance and Administration. My name is Nadira Shiwram-Singh. I am a mother of three beautiful children who have taught me many skills for this position. Academically however, I have a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration.
Cristian Martinez, Accounts Receivable
Cristian comes to us with over 14 years experience as a Tax Accountant. He specializes in the preparation of individual, small business corporations and partnership returns. Cristian also has over 17 years in not-for-profit organizations. He worked at Auburn Theological Seminary as Registrar for Educational Programs and Database Administration.

Hing Yuen Kwan, Maintenance Staff
Yuen was born in Macau and moved to Hong Kong at age three. In 2001 he came to the US. He joined All Souls part time in 2003 and became full time in 2004. He likes British Soccer, camping, basketball and BBQ. His favorite trip was to Phuket Island in Thailand.
Robert Gooden, Maintenance Staff
Robert joined All Souls full time in 2015. He has an Associate’s Degree in Information Technology. He enjoys working at All Souls.
Maverick Mackey, Maintenance Staff
In February 2020, Maverick joined All Souls part time. He is a huge sports fan who loves playing pool and spending time with his family.
Our Elected Leaders - the All Souls Board
Mark Leeds, President
Mark Leeds and his wife Mary McKenna have been members of All Souls since 2004. Both of Mark and Mary’s children came of age at the All Souls Religious Education program. Mark has served at All Souls as secretary to the Board of Trustees, member of the finance committee, Usher captain, Religious Education teacher (4th Grade OWL – Our While Lives program) and as a member of the Board of Directors of Heart & Soul. Mark is a former Chairman of the Board of Directors at Best Buddies (New York) and continues to serve as a Best Buddies Director. Mark is a tax partner in an international law firm whose New York office is located in midtown.

Richard Esposito, Board Member
Richard Esposito has been a member of All Souls since 2019. He has been on the Board of Directors for Heart & Soul Charitable Fund, a member of the Laymen’s League and the Writer’s Group, and a volunteer in outreach programs. Before joining All Souls, he was a member of various Unitarian churches in which he served on committees for strategic planning, welcoming, and capital campaigns.
Dixie Goss, Board Member
Dixie has been a member of All Souls since 1988. Dixie is a Professor and Endowed Scholar in the Chemistry Department of Hunter College CUNY, as well as a member of the National Institute of Health Research Ethics Committee, grant review panel for NIH and NSF.
Dixie is a participant in Monday Night Hospitality, the Women’s Alliance, a reader for Stories with Soul, and a participant in Heart and Soul.
Judith Moldover, Board Member
Judith has been a member of All Souls since 2009. Judith recently retired as a Senior Staff Attorney at Lawyers Alliance New York, a nonprofit dedicated to providing pro bono business and transactional legal assistance to other nonprofits serving underserved communities in New York City.
Judith is a former member of the All Souls Board (2019-2021), the Heart & Soul Charitable Foundation Board, is a Past President of the Community Choir, and a member of the Peace and Justice Task Force 2009-2011.
Matt Singh, Board Member
Matt has been a member of All Souls since 2015. Matt is a mid-career finance professional specializing in affordable housing investment, lending, construction, and public policy.
Matt is a part of All Souls Young Adults, and a leader in All Souls Friendship Circles. He is also a Board Member of the Rising Leaders Network, NY Housing Conference, and a former mentor with Big Brother Big Sisters NYC.
Shivani Singh, Board Member
Shivani Singh MD PhD has been a member of All Souls since 2016. She has served on the religious education program, welcome committee and more lately with the lay pastoral associates. Shivani is a physician scientist at NYU Langone Medical Center and attends as a pulmonologist at Bellevue Hospital. She researches the lung microbiome in various lung infections such as tuberculosis and covid-19 at the NYU Translational Lung Biology Laboratories.
Li Yu, Board Member
Li has practiced law since graduating from Columbia in 2002 – first in private practice, next as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New york, more recently as an investigator for the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, and now as an enforcement counsel at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
Li is a voluntter for Invisible Hands, and a teacher in the Religious Education Program. He met his wife, Tamara, at All Souls in 2011.
Jennifer Vermont-Davis, Clerk of the Society
Jennifer is the Clerk of the Society. Her history with All Souls goes back nearly two decades, having taught in the RE program for 17 years, directing the Christmas Pageant for 12, a member of the Board of Trustees, a deacon, an usher, and more.
Prior to joining The Allen-Stevenson School, Jennifer developed and ran her own theater company, New York Kids on Stage. And while her dedication to theater remains – she directs play intermittently – despite the field of work, Jennifer’s true passion for equity, inclusion and belonging is always her foundation.
Elizabeth Wahab, Treasurer
Elizabeth Wahab is the Chief Operating Officer at Cornell Capital. She previously worked at Viking Global Investors from 2012-2017 as Head of Investor Relations, Human Resources and the Viking Global Foundation. Prior to that she spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs in the firm’s private equity and investment banking groups.
Winifred Olsen, Assistant Secretary
Winifred Olsen worked for more than twenty years at the Japanese Mission to the United Nations as speech editor, writer, translator, and now does occasional free-lance editing of scholarly works relating to Japanese history and literature. She graduated with a BA from Beaver College (now Arcadia University) and an M.A. from Columbia University in modern Japanese studies.
At All Souls, she co-founded and was a leader for four years of its Brownie Girl Scout troop; is on the boards of Musica Viva and the Annie Eaton Society; is a member of the Deacons; and has served as Secretary of the Board of Trustees from 2001 to 2005 and from 2011 to present.
Winnie spends the summer and early fall months in Rowland, PA, where she volunteers with The Lackawaxen River Conservancy and the Delaware Riverkeeper Network, reflecting her passion for the protection of the earth and its resources, and the “interdependent web of all existence, of which we are a part.”
Erika Mikkelsen Halford, Assistant Secretary
Erika Mikkelsen Halford is the Associate General Counsel of Consumer Reports, the non-profit product testing and consumer advocacy organization and publisher of Consumer Reports magazine. Before joining Consumer Reports in 2006, Erika was an associate from 2000-2006 at the law firm of Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler in New York City.
Erika is a lifelong Unitarian Universalist. She has been a member of All Souls since 2001 and has volunteered as the All Souls Board of Trustees Assistant Secretary since 2008. Erika and her husband, Michael Halford, whom she married at All Souls in 2007, live in New York City with their daughter and son. Their daughter participates in the All Souls RE Program.
